Vegan Twix Bars

1. Add the crust ingredients (2 cups almond flour, 1/3 cup maple syrup) in a bowl and mix until a dough forms.
2. Press the dough into a brownie pan (or a small tupperware) and place in the fridge to set for five minutes.
3. While the crust is setting, make the caramel layer by adding 1/2 cup creamy salted peanut butter and 1/4 cup maple syrup to a new bowl and mixing until smooth and uniform.
4. Pour this caramel layer over the crust layer and place back in the fridge to set for a few minutes.
5. Melt the chocolate (1 chocolate bar or chocolate chips) and 1 tbsp peanut butter. For melting, you can use the microwave in two 30-second increments, stirring in between, until smooth.
6. Once smooth, pour the melted chocolate over the caramel layer, spread evenly, and place in the freezer for at least 2 hours to set.
7. Remove from the freezer, let thaw for a few minutes, then slice and store the bars in the fridge!
